"Burn Notice" returns for the second half of its fourth season on USA Network on November 11, 2010.
When we last saw Michael Weston, he'd been shot and was bleeding profusely and then had gotten into a car crash. Now he is in the hospital in Miami, with Fiona and Sam at his side. He learns that the list of the people who had burned him, which had been in the car with him before the crash, has disappeared. When Jesse visits Michael in the hospital, he explains that while he was the one who shot him it was actually that he was shooting through Michael to get to the bad guy. Jesse agrees to help Michael find the list that was lost.
As if things are not weird enough with his work world, his mother shows up at the hospital and tells him he will be living with her. Michael is reluctant to do so, but finally agrees. A nearby explosion, that is the result of a bomb, gives Sam and Michael a new lead. It turns out that Dale Lawson did not leave town, as Michael instructed, and may be involved. Talking to Scott, the former client who may be out to get revenge, seems to be an obvious suspect. Scott tells Michael that he has a alibi, even though he does not believe him, and that he wishes he did kill Dale for kidnapping his daughter.
Vaughn shows up and tells Michael that he needs to keep a low profile, which he says is easier said than done. Fiona and Sam have an idea who may have stolen the list from the car crash, but Michael decides he needs to find the bomber first. Sam finds him a suspect, and Michael goes to his house to investigate - while still recovering from his wounds. He has a confrontation with the guy, who is a bit psychotic, and has to talk his way out of the situation.
This episode leaves you guessing to the very end - who is involved and how, where the list is, and what exactly the list reveals - these are all mysteries played with in the episode. Michael operating not at his full physical capacity adds an interesting element to the episode, and Sam and Fiona trying to take up the slack makes it more intriguing. Watch the episode to see what happens and how it sets things up for the rest of the season.
